Wow, time has flown by!!! I must prouly announce that Intdev turned 10 today. Its not been an easy feat growin this company from my R1,000 initial investment in 1998 (for spare parts of hardware) to the fabulous business it is today. I recall the mere hosting charges of R456 per month to Obsidian for lodging my server on their then 128Kbit leased line, infrastructure and costs that have been long surpassed in great multiples since then. While the company is still relatively small compared to the market, I'm glad to say to have survived 1) that long, 2) borne out the many monthly billing cycles and 3) come to work with a great group of people.

 

Having started Intdev has taught me a few things, many that only entrepreneurs can relate to. It has, however, also taught me that it makes more sense to raise capital and feel-the-beat in a strategy to larger, quicker. It depends on the management style, if the individuals can manage the pressures of a business growing at running-speed-while-not-yet-being-able-to-walk, or take a more conservative longer term view.

 

We have the business fully under control, and I am confident it will only go (and grow) from stength to strength!!
